Outdoor & nature on Blue Bay Curaçao
Curaçao is mostly known for its snow-white beaches, blue waters and tropical palm trees. But Curaçao has much more beautiful nature to offer.
There is the Christoffel Park, the largest national park of Curaçao. The area covers some 20 square kilometers and consists of three former plantations. The highest mountain and with 377 meters also the highest point of Curaçao, the Christoffelberg, is located in the park. You can climb the mountain and enjoy a magnificent view.
Shete Boka, also a national park, borders the Christoffel Park. It is about 200 hectares in size and is characterized by a 10 kilometer long coastline with several bays and coves. A famous attraction in the park is the Boka Tabla, which is a cave.
Through the national parks there are several hiking trails that take you past all the special places.
Another popular outdoor activity is the ATV tour. On a quad you explore the island in a full or half day. You ride over sandy plains, explore residential areas and on the way there is time for a drink.
